We are currently looking for Class 1 Milk Reload Drivers to join our Milk Operations team, based out of Preston, working dayshift on a 4on4off shift pattern.

*Non-taxable meal allowance of £1873 included in above salary detailed. Meal allowance is payable when in attendance at work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Delivering a professional and efficient driving service within our Milk operations team, delivering milk to dairies throughout England, Wales and Scotland from our depots in Cumbria and Lancashire on milk reload tankers.

  • Following procedures for activities associated with milk collection and delivery to dairies.

  • Following procedures for relevant sampling and checks in line with food safety.

  • Working as part of a team, providing a professional service to our customers.

  • Keeping in regular contact with office team for updates on status and progress to support in managing customer’s expectations.

  • Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.

 

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence.

  • Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card.

  • Experience and knowledge of the milk haulage industry is preferred, but not essential.

  • Ability to work unsupervised, or as part of a wider team, and be able to use your own initiative

 

To be successful in this role you will be a real team player, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
