Job Title:

Sales/Tele-Sales & Customer Support Administrator


Reports to:

Sales Office & Account Manager



To assist current Sales Team to identify and prospect businesses in the area that would have the capability, potential and requirement to purchase the services of the Wm Armstrong Group; with particular attention to PalletForce Distribution activities.

Achieve targets for sales; calls and lead generation as set by your manager.


Staff Responsibilities:




Regular contact with customers, managers and colleagues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate sales reporting

• Promote Wm. Armstrong in line with current company values, beliefs and branding

• Responsible for achieving agreed targets

• Provide a weekly schedule of your activities.

• Gain appointments and conduct thorough business reviews with a view to successful sales.  

• Respond to any sales enquiry in a timely manner

• Process requests from customers in a timely and accurate manner

• Liaise with internal and external personnel regarding delivery of goods working to strict guidelines.

• Maintain contact with current customers to gauge performance & ensure service expectations are met.


• Confident & Professional Telephone manner

• Communication Skills – written, verbal, internal & external

• Outgoing personality

• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines

• Develop a strong knowledge and understanding of services offered by Wm. Armstrong Group

• Develop a detailed knowledge of the PalletForce network operationand other network service providers

• Driving Licence (car) advantageous

• Communication Skills – written, verbal, internal & external

• Customer Care

• Information Technology Skills – accurate data input & competent in Excel & Word and able to use Social Media.


Main Duties

• Support current sales team in the development of Customer Base

• Make use of available data and current contacts to locate potential business prospects.

• Maintain database and customer records

• To promote best practice in maintaining high levels of Customer Service

• Regular meetings with Manager and Sales Team.

• Undertake such other duties that are required from time to time commensurate with this position.

• General admin duties including emailing / faxing / photocopying

• Liaise with your manager when situations arise which adversely affect your duties and follow further instructions

• You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations regarding the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.

• Report any health and safety issue including accidents to self.

• Follow all site rules

• You must comply with all relevant legislation, e.g. WTR

• Inform the company of any changes to your circumstances, e.g. change of address / name

• Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by your manager 


Hours of work

40hrs per week not including a 30-minute lunch break, Monday – Friday, exact start and finishing times TBC.


Subject to experience and industry knowledge.
