Traffic Clerk - Uddingston G71 6PB

We are currently looking for 2 Traffic Clerks to join our team at our Uddingston Depot.
In this role, you will provide high level administrative support for the traffic team ensuring the accurate flow of information throughout our haulage operations. You will handle real time communications with our drivers, solving or escalating issues as appropriate where they occur.
To be successful in this role you will be a ‘people person’ and a real team player. Previous Transport Office experience or knowledge of the haulage industry would be advantageous but just as importantly, you will be an effective communicator and able to stay calm under pressure, thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment. A strong and experienced administrator, proficient in the use of all Microsoft programs you are organised, proactive and have excellent attention to detail.

The hours for this role will be on a rolling shift pattern between 07:00 – 19:00 Monday – Friday, with some Saturday working as per the agreed rota, which includes Saturday bonus payment.
