We are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our AVC team in Uddingston, qualified with skills in Light Goods Vehicles.
​
In this customer-facing role you will ensure all our AVC customers receive top quality service. As a qualified technician you will carry out servicing, mechanical and electrical repair, and preventative maintenance to a wide range of vehicles. You will be skilled with strong and up-to-date technical knowledge used to carry out diagnostics and ensure vehicle repaired in compliance with company and legislative requirements. This role offers great career development with the opportunity to add to and develop your qualifications with continuous on the job and external training opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers daily. You pay attention to detail, and you are passionate about staying at the top of your game. An HGV/LGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

In return we offer a permanent role on a Dayshift, Monday to Friday at 40 hours per week 08:00 – 16:30 with a 30 minute break.
​
The role offers very competitive rates of pay with a basic day rate @£18.00ph. Overtime is not normally required, if overtime is worked additional enhanced rates may be payable.
​
