Wm Armstrong Group is looking for reliable, professional, and customer-focused Class 1 Multidrop Drivers to join our busy Palletforce operation in Uddingston.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers, although full training can be provided for the right candidate. If you are safety-conscious, enjoy working independently, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Multidrop Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across designated routes within the G/ML postcode areas. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a reliable and professional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
-
Carry out multidrop deliveries and collections across assigned routes.

Safely operate HGV Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles.

Load, unload, and secure freight in line with company and legal requirements.

Complete daily vehicle checks and promptly report any defects.

Ensure delivery and collection paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Provide excellent customer service at all times.

Keep regular communication with the Transport Office regarding route progress, delays, and customer requirements.

Manage customer expectations professionally and resolve issues where possible.

Comply with Drivers' Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and tachograph legislation.

Support operational requirements across the business as needed.

Attend training and development activities to maintain required skills and qualifications.
What We're Looking For
Essential
-
Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence.

Current Driver CPC qualification.

Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Good geographical knowledge.

Positive attitude and team-player mentality.
Desirable
-
Previous multidrop driving experience.

Experience within pallet network operations.
